am I to promote both names on one Society Page?
If both your names are in the historical genre
we will make two separate pages for both your names
and promote your names separately if you choose.
A 40% charge for an extra name will apply on which
ever Society Package you choose.
Example Name Number#1 = $160.00 for one year
Example Name Number#2 = $ 96.00 for one year
How am I too pay for the extra name when
the option is not on the website?

I also write contemporary novels, will
you promote those as well?
While the overall idea of The Mystic Castle is
to promote Historical Romance, some allowances will
be made for Society Authors who have novels in other
genres. Your Society page will always be focused
on your historical romance/fiction novel. But we
will make every effort to promote your non-historical
novel via other venues on the website including
the upcoming release novel banner, a pop up page
linked to your Society Page and of course on The
Society Forum and by booking a chat.

I am a paranormal author with a contemporary
heroine/or hero. The book mainly focuses in historical
times via time travel. Does my novel qualify?
In order to qualify for The Society your novel
must be 80% set in historical times and remain there
in the HEA. But you may be interested in registering
for The
Mystic Realm a sister site to The Mystic Castle.

I do not have a paypal account how am
I too pay you?
There are two options available. You can send
an international money order to cover the charge.
Or you can use Paypal. The Mystic Castle has set
up Paypal to accept money from anyone regardless of
if you have a Paypal account or not. A credit card
is all that is needed. It’s a friendly and secure
environment with 128 bit encryption.
The Mystic Castle used to charge in US Currency,
why did you switch over to Canadian Currency?
The Mystic Castle based out of Ontario, Canada, we
switched over to Canadian Currency to be consistent
with it's pricing. The US currency was causing drastic
fluctuations on a daily basis for prices and it was
becoming too confusing for authors and administratoars
alike to keep track of.
How do I have my Society Page updated when
I have new release coming out?
Just email Laurel the new cover and new blurb and
she will update your page for the next update.
Do you offer a monthly payment plan?
Yes we do effective October 06 we enacted a monthly
subscription service. At the point of registering
you are required to pay 2 months up front ($30.00).
The following will be deducted every month from your
paypal account. The only restriction on this is you
must be a registered member of paypal.
What about a Banner and Affiliation Bundle
subscription plan?
We do have this as an option. You must contact Laurel
as each circumstance is different. Generally the banner
is purchased within the first three months with your
affiliation. After that point it reduces down to the
monthly subscription price of $15.00 dollars a month.
How long does it take to have my Society
Page online once I have paid for the service?
The normal time is 72 hours or when the next update
is, which ever comes first. Exceptions that will
apply is if all the information we require was not
passed over at point of registering.
How do I renew my affiliation with The
Mystic Castle?
The administration will 30 days before your service
expires contact you via email to discuss with you
about renewing and how to renew. Or you can visit
the Society Author's
only section to renew your affiliation.
Do I have to participate The Society Forum?
In a nutshell no! This feature is an option for
you to participate. The Society is not meant to
be an heavily interactive site with Reader and Author.
To participate on the The Forum we simply require
that stop by at least twice a month to answer questions
and comments that readers have left for you.
What about theme chats? What are those?
Theme chats such as medieval night are held once
a month. It is an open format where author and readers
get together and discuss everything medieval in
novels. They are relaxed and run an hour in duration.
They are a great way to do self-promotion on your
novels. You do not need to be at every chat. It
is a come if you can format for the authors.
I already bundled up with affiliation and
a banner for my current novel. I have another novel
coming out later in the year. How do I promote that
novel with another banner?
Just go to Castle Services and visit the Society
Authors Only section, and order your banner through
our website. Society Author's save 10% on advertising
banners.
