nicely plump titties  ( on: November 02, 2008, 12:59:21 AM)

I just finished To Seduce a Sinner....great read by the way.  Elizabeth Hoyt once again produces a wonderful romance.  However let's get back to nicley plump titties...seem our hero needed a wife.  Didn't particurly care who the person was as long as she was reasonably attractive...and his latest fiancee left him at the alter which was too bad because she had nicely plump titties and he was so looking forward to playing with them on their wedding night.  Besides that small bit of disappointment he really didn't care that she left him...and that very day was engaged to and quickly married the heroine of the novel.

This scene...our hero, hungover, maybe even a bit tipsy still trying to understand that his fiance was calling off the wedding and all he could think about was her breast that would have been nice to play with and now he doesn't get to...cracked me up.  And than it could me to thinking.  Do men at first objectify women and than we become human after the fact?  And do we love them for just that reason...we realize that we have to attract them with our assets and than hold them with a combination of intelligence and assets.  Not saying all men are like this...however so many othe ones I dated seem to share this characteristic with the hero of this book.  Has anyone else ever read a passage in which you recognize someone you dated or are currently living with.

Oh, if Ms Hoyt reads this post...Bravo!  Great bit of character development in a very telling scene.  I thoroughly enjoyed the book from the very first page!

I haven't read this yet but it's in my pile to do so.  This sounds like a great read.

Yes I think a fair amount of men do objectify females before we speak.  As to a any particular scene in a novel.  I would have to think about it.  But that scene you described above does sound like a ex I have, he was/is a glorified boob man.  I could see him pouting over the lost chance to play with a pair of titties.

Hehehe!  Weirdos!

So Adair, who do you think is the traitor?  Witchy should ask Elizabeth to sponsor a contest where people guess and the winner gets a life sized standee of Viscount Iddesleigh to watch over her as she sleeps.

I'm intrigued by this book but I need to read the first in the series before TSaS.  I think, and I'm trying so hard not to sterotype, that most straight men disceetly try to check out a woman's attributes. Personally, I like to be noticed in a tasteful way but do not like lewd comments from anyone regarding my person.  Hey, I check out and can appreciate a real man!

As for a particular scene in a novel, I do recall a scene with a Navy Chief from one of Suzanne Brockmann's books that remind me of my husband.  It wasn't sexual, just the way she described how the chief acted was so accruate.  I heard my guy's voice in it all.  Suzanne really had him pegged!
