The Little Lady Agency  ( on: October 30, 2008, 07:18:47 AM)

i am enjoying this series by Hester Browne immensely! first, The Little Lady Agency, now, The Little Lady Agency and the Prince, and next, The Little Lady Agency in the Big Apple.

they remind me a lot of janet evanovich's  stephanie plum books with the situations that come up and her dysfunctional family. it's about brit Melissa Romney-Jones, an organized young lady that lets people take advantage of her gifts, until she decides that many married women are under-appreciated for all the things they do, and why shouldn't she be paid to do all that organizing, scheduling, wardrobe advice, gifting help, etc. so she disguises herself in a blond wig and high heels and wows the town as Honey Blennerhesket, a freelance girlfriend (NO funny business!).  Rofl taking charge of problems that she as Melissa would not have the courage to do. when american Jonathan Riley needs her help, she finds out she's the one in trouble!

these books are enjoyable and i highly recommend them!

Thanks for the recommendation.  I love the Plum series and a similar one with a Brit sounds awesome!  I'm going to my library webiste to see if they have them here.
