Rock  Just finished reading Dark Embraceand absolutely loved this novel.   The pathos of this book....... had me feeling so much sorrow...... that after the beginning wondered where BJ was going.   Sad

This is the definition of pathos....A quality, as of an experience or a work of art, that arouses feelings of pity, sympathy, tenderness, or sorrow.  And I think that describes aptly my feeling about Dark Embrace.  Smiley

Wasn't that a powerful book Helen?  My back cringed when I got to the part where Brie was thrown into the tree by Moray.  That had to have hurt.  I've read it a couple of times.  I also really liked Brie, her conviction knew no bounds.

I know alot of people were disappointed that Aidan was not the happy go lucky playboy that he was portrayed to be in the first two books.  However I loved this Aidan, and story it's still my favorite out of all the stories, however the one I am reading now Dark Lover -- Aidan's son (comes out Sept 09) whew is all I can really say.  He is one tough bad ass tortured come take me if you think you can type of guy.

Not writing has finished writing and it's going through the editing process.  His heroine is Sam.  It is one hellava book!  I am halfway through it now, they have not gone back in time yet.  I guess I should shut up....LOL.   Lips Sealed

I have read Dark Embrace a couple of times, I am always drawn into that story.  He was one tortured character and the love story was well written, and his father has got to be Brenda's most vilest and evil character to date.
