I am really liking "Sizzle"   It grabs you at the very beginning.  And if you like "dumb criminals" this is  the book for you.  In places it reminds me of a Stephanie Plum book.

Anyone ever read anything by Debbie Macomber?  I'm almost finished with the first in her Cedar Cove series, 16 Lighthouse Road and will start the next one, 204 rosewood Lane.  They're sort of like watching a PG-rated soap opera.  Good writing and characters. I also am reading The Betrayal of the Blood Lily by Lauren Willig.

I'm going to start Push by Sapphire tonight.  The movie release got me interested, figured I'd read before seeing it.  Also want to finish the 3rd Deadly  before the season starts.  Had to put it on the back burner for a while!

Just finished "Impossible Attraction" by Brenda Joyce and I loved it.  I'm glad she is doing some plain old historical romance.  I did not like the Master of Time Series.  Too much to keep track of and frankly I'm tired of all the weirdness in books lately.  Like the Sherrlyn Kenyon books and vampire stuff.  Just give me a good romance with normal people and I'm happy.

Had the same discussion with my sister this morning!  I'm leaning towards good old fashioned historical romances lately.  Stuff's getting old.  And some of the books border on indecent - not tastefully done.  Give me a vintage bodice ripper anytime!!!

i'm reading The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons.

Oh My! i'm lovin' it. set at the start of WW2 in 1941 Leningrad. will Alexander and Tatiana overcome all odds and live to be free to love each other the way they want to?

hmm... you'll have to read it to find out. this is truly a great book, with wonderful style and personalities.
