I've thumbed through the first three Body Movers books by Stephanie Bond and will read the 4th this weekend while riding to Va Beach.  They remind me of the Plum series but a little darker and instead of a love triangle, there's a love quadrangle (three guys and the heroine).  I also finished the first in the China Bayles series, Thyme of Death by Susan Wittig Albert.

I'm reading the Shopaholic books by Sophie Kinsella.  Funny!  Becky is really an idiot, but a wonderful, funny idiot

On a side note, the movie is almost a complete rewrite.  Why do authors allow that?

Didn't finish Body Theif didn't like it. Then I read Vittorio by Anne Rice and enjoyed it. Now reading The secret life and sorrow of Josephine B. Loving it.

In the past month I started on my TBR pile.   Finally read Elizabeth Hoyt's 2nd book  in her Legend of the Four Soldiers - To Seduce A Sinner.  Now both her books will remain on my keeper shelf. 

Also read Gaelen Foley's My Wicked Marquess.   I was so looking forward to this one and frankly it was not up to my expectations.

My daughter gave me some Nicole Jordan novels.  An author I really gave up on because she made her heroes  - beta men.   They just do not have the umph!  If you know what I mean. LOL   I started with the 3rd book in her series The Courtship Wars - To Pleasure a Lady.   Not a bad read,   so I guess I have to read the other two novels in the series.

In a strange reading mood so I'm re-reading my older, much older romances.  The old standbys like No Choice but Surrender, Moonlight Lady, My Lord Conqueror, White Heather, The Wolf and the Dove etc.  I think the Conqueror is somewhere in that pile...maybe after Lord of Ice.  Just finished Lord of Fire.  (not sure why however of Gaelin's books...Lord of Fire and Lord of Ice was always my favotite.

Also finally finished Abundance (story of Marie Antoinette.  Long slow read however one of the best books I've read in long while...I cried at the end.)  Highly recommend this book to those who likes an author who takes her time with layering the characters and remains historically accurate.  It is very sad at the end.  And you see Marie Antoinette in a very different light after reading the novel.

Just finished Snowdrops and Scandalbroth by Barbara Metzger.
A Regency Romance. Easy to read as well as funny with a hint of mystery.
